Literally element
In this story one literally element is foreshadowing. Foreshadowing often gives clues of something that will happen later on in the story. One example foreshadowing is when Brian’s mom gives him a hatchet. This is an example of foreshadowing because Brian will use the hatchet later in the story and when his mother gives it to him it signifies that he is going to need it later. He uses it not only for survival against prey but also to build a fire for warmth. Another example of foreshadowing is when the pilot shows Brian a little bit on how to fly. This is an example of foreshadowing because it tells the reader that Brian will need to know how to fly later. With these two pieces of evidence of foreshadowing it is clear to see that there is foreshadowing in this story.
